- Coordinate the import of shipments in the most efficient way.
- Coordinate the export of shipments effectively.
- Setting up and maintaining schedules for inbound and outbound shipments
- Handling the clearance of all shipments in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Handling samples of shipments in a timely manner.
- Keep up to date on shipping carriers, routes and rates and any changes to them.
- Select carriers for transportation and negotiate rates and contracts with carriers.
- Monitor and manage logistics expenses as per budget and cash flow.
- Manage warehouse inventory and keep records of the inventory.
- Invoicing and landed cost of all shipments.
- Analysis of all logistics cost and cost-cutting implementation of the costs (clearance, shipping…)
- Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficient.
- Prepares shipping documents for domestic and international shipments.
Excellent English, verbal / written communication is a must.Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.ERP system knowledge (preferably SAP B1)Ability to work under pressure, teamwork, multi-tasker, analytical, problem solver, proactive.5-10 years’ experience in logistics.
