Cabin Services - Performance Manager (Cabin Crew)

About the Role: You will be responsible for managing a team of Cabin Crew to ensure consistent service delivery in compliance with Company standards and procedures through continuous monitoring of crew performance. Specific accountabilities include:

  • You will manage daily Cabin Crew performance and productivity related to service reliability, safety procedures and sickness management.
  • You will conduct and/or participate in investigation hearing sessions, take appropriate action based on findings and compile post investigation summary reports for executive Management review in consultation with Manager Cabin Crew and related Cabin Services stakeholders.
  • You will conduct performance appraisals and evaluations for assigned crew members within the group at specified intervals within the year.
  • You will provide coaching, guidance and development feedback to Cabin Crew and engage with Cabin Crew in briefing sessions for promotion trainings, graduations, refresher and other training sessions.
  • Regularly evaluate the department or teams’ objectives, plans, procedures and practices, and makes appropriate changes if needed.
  • You will ensure crew compliance to all relevant safety, security, quality and environmentalmanagement policies, procedures and controls across the operation.
  • You will assist in the response to any emergency or a major operational disruption affecting Qatar Airways or its subsidiaries, including support of the Qatar Airways Special Assistance Program.
  • You will conduct on-line performance management assessment of crew if required.

  • Relevant College or University qualification at Bachelor's degree level and ideally 6 years of Cabin Crew Performance/Training Management experience OR high school/relevant Diploma and 7 years of Cabin Crew Performance/Training Management experience.
  • You should have previous experience in leading a team, strong mentoring and coaching skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Cabin Crew on-board processes and procedures.
  • Demonstrated effective communication with Cabin Crew and management/stakeholders across any platform.
  • Ability to effectively negotiate and provide solutions that mutually benefit Cabin Crew and the business.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and proven ability to multitask.
  • Previous experience in working in a multicultural and diverse workplace is an added advantage.
  • Excellent command of the English language and Business Communication.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point etc.
  • Willingness to relocate to Doha, Qatar.
