Responsibilities:

1. Design, configure, and implement Public Address and General Alarm (PAGA) systems for industrial, commercial, and marine applications.

2. Conduct site surveys and assessments to evaluate project requirements, identify technical challenges, and recommend appropriate PAGA solutions.

3. Collaborate with clients, project managers, and stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and technical specifications.

4. Develop detailed engineering designs, schematics, and layouts for PAGA systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

5. Specify equipment, components, and materials for PAGA installations, considering performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

6. Program and integrate PAGA control systems, amplifiers, speakers, and signaling devices to achieve optimal system performance and functionality.

7. Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities to verify functionality, reliability, and compliance with project requirements.

8. Provide technical support and guidance to installation teams, subcontractors, and maintenance personnel during system deployment and operation.

9. Conduct training sessions and workshops for end-users and client personnel to familiarize them with PAGA system operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures.

10. Stay informed about emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices related to PAGA systems and electronic engineering.

Skills

1. Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree or professional certifications are a plus.

2. Minimum 5 years of experience.

3. Strong technical expertise in PAGA system architecture, components, and integration, with proficiency in brands such as Gaitronics, Federal Signal, and Spectra Lyminix.

4. In-depth knowledge of relevant standards and regulations governing PAGA system design, installation, and operation (e.g., IEC 60849, NFPA 72).

5. Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, simulation tools, and programming languages commonly used in electronic engineering.

6. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues effectively.

7. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

8. Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and meet project deadlines within budgetary constraints.

9. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
