Responsibilities:

1. Lead and coordinate the commissioning and startup of equipment, systems, and facilities to ensure optimal performance and functionality.

2. Develop commissioning plans, procedures, and checklists to verify equipment installation, functionality, and compliance with project requirements.

3. Conduct pre-commissioning inspections, tests, and verifications to identify and address issues before system activation.

4. Coordinate with project stakeholders, including design engineers, contractors, vendors, and operations teams, to facilitate commissioning activities and resolve technical issues.

5. Perform functional testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of equipment and instrumentation to ensure proper operation and performance.

6. Document commissioning activities, including test results, observations, and corrective actions, to support project documentation and regulatory compliance.

7. Liaise with project managers, clients, and regulatory authorities to obtain necessary permits, approvals, and certifications for commissioning activities.

8. Provide training and technical support to operations and maintenance teams to facilitate the transition from commissioning to full operational mode.

9. Monitor commissioning progress, track key performance indicators, and communicate project status and milestones to stakeholders and management.

10. Ensure adherence to project schedules, budgets, quality standards, and safety protocols throughout the commissioning process.

Skills

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field). Master's degree or professional certifications preferred.

2. Minimum of 7-8 years of experience in commissioning engineering, preferably in the energy, utilities, or manufacturing sectors.

3. Proven track record of successfully commissioning complex systems and facilities, with strong technical expertise and problem-solving skills.

4. Comprehensive knowledge of commissioning processes, procedures, and industry best practices.

5. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

6. Familiarity with relevant regulations, codes, and standards governing commissioning activities.

7. Proficiency in commissioning tools, software applications, and instrumentation.

8. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing project requirements in a dynamic environment.

9. Willingness to travel to project sites and client locations as required.
