  • Helping clients take prescribed medication schedule by administering prescribed medications accurately and on time, while maintaining proper documentation.
  • Assisting clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.) ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Assisting clients with personal care and hygiene.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to patients, fostering a warm and caring environment that promotes their well-being and happiness.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to patients' dietary preferences and restrictions, ensuring they receive adequate nourishment and hydration.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks such as tidying up living spaces, doing laundry, and maintaining a clean and organized environment for the patient's comfort and safety.
  • Monitor patients' health status, including vital signs, symptoms, and changes in condition, and report any concerns or abnormalities to healthcare professionals or family members.
  • Implement care plans developed by healthcare professionals, following instructions and protocols for managing patients' medical conditions and providing appropriate care.
  • Maintain open and effective communication with patients' healthcare providers, family members, and other caregivers, sharing relevant information to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
  • Engage patients in stimulating activities and mental exercises to promote cognitive function, memory retention, and overall mental well-being.
  • Implement fall prevention strategies and safety measures within the home environment, such as removing hazards, installing grab bars, and providing assistance during transfers and mobility.
  • Respond promptly and calmly to emergencies or unexpected situations, following established procedures and protocols to ensure the safety and well-being of the patient.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of care provided, including observations, interventions, and patient responses, in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
  • Encourage and support patients in maintaining their independence and autonomy to the greatest extent possible, while providing assistance and support as needed.
  • Pursue opportunities for ongoing training and education to enhance caregiving skills, stay updated on best practices, and provide the highest quality of care to patients.


Skills

  • Must have experience in Baby care, Elderly care, Diabitic Patients'care, NGT Feeding procedures & Other conditions.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Caregiver in Home Care, Clinics, or Hospital settings.
  • Certification: Possession of a valid certification as a Caregiver.
