  • We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated HVAC Sales Engineer with expertise in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of HVAC equipment and technologies, including air-cooled chillers, variable refrigerant flow (VRF) systems, rooftop packaged units, chilled water piping systems, and duct sizer calculations. Additionally, proficiency in HVAC load calculation software such as Hourly Analysis Program (HAP) for accurate system sizing and estimation is required. As an HVAC Sales Engineer, he will play a key role in driving sales initiatives, providing technical support, and delivering customized HVAC solutions to meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify leads, opportunities, and potential clients in the HVAC market segment.
  • Utilize technical expertise to conduct comprehensive HVAC system assessments and identify optimal solutions based on client requirements and project specifications.
  • Perform HVAC load calculations using software such as the Hourly Analysis Program (HAP) to accurately size equipment and estimate cooling and heating loads.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals to clients, highlighting the features and benefits of our HVAC solutions.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to clients throughout the sales process, including system design, equipment selection, and installation recommendations.
  • Develop detailed project plans, specifications, and cost estimates for HVAC projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations and budget constraints.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, project management, and customer service, to ensure seamless execution of HVAC projects and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, codes, and regulations related to HVAC systems, as well as emerging technologies and innovations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, architects, and other key stakeholders in the HVAC industry to drive business growth and foster long-term partnerships.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in HVAC sales, engineering, or a related technical role.
  • In-depth knowledge of HVAC equipment, systems, and technologies, including air-cooled chillers, VRF systems, rooftop packaged units, chilled water piping systems, and duct sizer calculations.
  • Proficiency in HVAC load calculation software such as Hourly Analysis Program (HAP) or similar tools.
  • Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex HVAC systems and recommend optimal solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and objectives in the HVAC industry.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend industry events, and participate in training sessions.
