- Provide welcoming ‘’first contact” with each costumer or groups of costumers and ensure they have an enjoyable experience
- Respond to golfers questions, requests and concerns
- Process requests and start players off tee according to schedule
- Acertaion safe period of time between starting golfers
- Check membership cards from club members and registerd guests
- Assistance and maintenance of golf clubs
- Interact with golfers in friendly, helpful manner.
- Responsible for informing players of course conditions and local rules
- Communicate with reception, keep up-to-date and accurate tee sheets. Also check for special instructions like no chipping on practice green etc.
- Track players and speed of play
- Keep track of rental sets
- Look for opportunities to take care of the course like repair a pitch mark or fill a divot
- Set up for lessons, prepare practice aid, clubs, etc
- Monitor water stations and cleanless of the course
- Maintain an adequate supply of scorecards, penmcils, tees, ball markers etc
- Any additional tasks assigned by the Manager and/or supervisor
- Trains outside service associates for opening/closing procedures and other ECGC Golf standards.
- Oversees all outside service personnel to ensure all policies and procedures are upheld.
- Works with the Event Coordinator and Golf Operations Manager to organize all groups/outings that are taking place on a specific day and prepares staff and facility for all these events.
- Supervises all tasks within the normal OS Attendants daily duties as required.
- Ensure direct reports are supervising their teams effectively.
- Maintains accurate records of golfers renting clubs, service the customer.
- Golf Operations Supervisor will be required to produce and submit monthly management report with 5 working days of the period end.
