Job Summary
The MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) Project Director oversees and leads the MEP services delivery, health and safety and subcontractor performance and wellbeing, whilst liaising with the client, main contractor and consultants. Capable of leading the project team on large/complex projects. This role leads all MEP projects to set up the majors' targets to handover the projects with the highest quality standards. The main objective is to drive and deliver commercial performance of the business aligned with the organization strategic objectives.
Job Responsibilities 1
Manages all phases of projects from concept through design, procurement & construction and commercial
Establish and implements strategies to ensure effective execution of planning, monitoring & controlling of projects' scope, schedule, quality
Develops and implements Risk Assessment/ Job Hazard analysis in advance of commencement of activities and to ensure all preventive control measures are in place.
Job Responsibilities 2
Manage and direct consultants and support services to meet required schedules and objectives. plumbing systems and oversees the preparation of related engineering drawings
Plan all MEP operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met.
Ensures that the supply chain and internal resource in line with programme requirements.
Establishes and implements the project health and safety strategies.
Conduct the site meetings in relation to project phases and progress stages .
Ensure an appropriate supply chain presence on site to improve production.
Ensure a proper mobilization of workface, materials for each stage of the project

A proven track record of successfully delivering projects & concentrating on client satisfaction
Extensive experience managing the financial aspects of projects
In depth understanding of all MEP packages
Advanced understanding of risk management policies and procedures
Extensive experiencing managing budgets for large construction projects
Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes and equipment
ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
Job Experience
Minimum 15 years of experience
Atleast 5 years in GCC region is preferred
