Structural Engineer

  • Prepare / review design analyses, calculations and procedures for structural in-service & pre-service engineering analyses deliverables such as: in place, transportation, lifting, load-out, sea fastening/tie-down, installation, vessel deck layout and modification, ROV platform erection, etc.


Skills

  • Bachelors Degree in civil or Structural Engineering.
  • 5+ yrs in oil and gas with major EPC contractor or consultant.
  • Experience of working in a variety of projects and phases, including greenfield and brownfield, onshore and offshore, Pre-FEED through to EPC, with a focus on offshore upstream.
  • Proven core Structural Engineering skills, including design experience and preferably in the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Good knowledge of Diving, ROV & Survey operations
  • Knowledge of mechanical, structural, and SURF (Subsea Umbilicals, Risers & Flowlines).
  • Fully conversant with MS Office and AutoCAD
  • Familiar with engineering software tools in addition to SACS, StaadPro, USFOS, ANSYS, etc.
  • Other Engineering software (Orcaflex, Sacs, Mose, Abaqu) is a plus. Oracle applications
