Role Description The Printing Press Operator role is a full-time, on-site position based in Doha, Qatar. The role involves setting up, operating, and monitoring printing press machines to produce high-quality printed materials according to job specifications. Day-to-day tasks include preparing plates and inks, loading and aligning paper or other substrates, adjusting machine settings, and performing routine quality checks to ensure color accuracy and print consistency. The role also requires basic machine maintenance, troubleshooting minor technical issues, and following safety and cleanliness standards in the press room. The Printing Press Operator collaborates with designers, production staff, and supervisors to meet deadlines and maintain efficient workflow.
Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Communication and Writing skills to understand job requirements, complete documentation, and coordinate with team members. Candidates should possess skills in Public Relations and Press Releases to support the creation of printed materials for corporate and media communications when required. Candidates should possess familiarity with New Media to align printed outputs with digital campaigns and modern branding practices. Candidates should possess experience operating printing machines, understanding color theory, and following print production processes. Candidates should possess attention to detail, time management abilities, and capability to work safely in a fast-paced production environment. Relevant technical training or vocational certification in printing, graphic communications, or a related field is beneficial. Previous experience in a commercial printing press or print production environment in Doha or similar markets is an advantage.
