F&B Supervisor – 5-Star Resort | Sealine, Qatar
We are looking for an experienced and service-oriented F&B Supervisor to join a prestigious 5-star resort in the Sealine area of Qatar.
The F&B Supervisor will be responsible for supervising day-to-day food and beverage operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, maintaining luxury service standards, and leading the F&B team during assigned shifts. The role will work closely with the F&B Manager, Restaurant Manager, Kitchen and other resort departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in a luxury hotel, 5-star resort, fine-dining restaurant, beach resort or high-end hospitality environment, with strong knowledge of international F&B service standards.
Key Responsibilities F&B Operations Supervise daily operations of assigned restaurants, cafés, lounges, pool/beach outlets, banquets and other F&B facilities. Ensure smooth and efficient service throughout each shift. Conduct pre-shift briefings and allocate duties according to operational requirements. Ensure proper opening, operating and closing procedures are followed. Monitor table setup, mise-en-place, service sequence, cleanliness and overall outlet readiness. Ensure effective shift handovers and clear communication between teams. Guest Experience & Luxury Service Deliver and maintain 5-star luxury service standards throughout all guest interactions. Proactively identify guest requirements and ensure personalized service. Handle guest feedback, complaints and service recovery professionally and promptly. Ensure the team demonstrates excellent product knowledge and knowledge of menus, promotions and resort facilities. Maintain a welcoming, professional and guest-focused environment. Team Leadership Supervise, motivate and guide F&B service colleagues during shifts. Allocate daily responsibilities and monitor staff performance. Coach team members on service standards, grooming, etiquette and product knowledge. Support the training and onboarding of new F&B employees. Monitor attendance, punctuality, grooming and professional conduct. Lead by example and promote teamwork across a multicultural workforce. Food Safety, Hygiene & Compliance Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, health and safety and resort SOPs. Conduct regular checks of dining areas, service stations, storage areas and equipment. Ensure appropriate personal hygiene and grooming standards are maintained. Monitor cleanliness and sanitation of all F&B areas. Report maintenance, safety or operational issues to the relevant department immediately. Stock & Cost Control Monitor operating supplies, crockery, cutlery, glassware, linen and other F&B requirements. Assist with stocktaking, requisitions and inventory control. Ensure correct stock rotation and minimize wastage and spoilage. Monitor appropriate use of consumables and equipment. Support the F&B Manager in maintaining operational costs within budget. Revenue & Business Support Promote upselling and suggestive selling opportunities. Ensure staff are aware of promotions, special packages and revenue-generating initiatives. Support management in achieving F&B revenue and guest satisfaction targets. Assist with special events, private functions, weddings, banquets and resort activities as required. Interdepartmental Coordination Coordinate closely with the Kitchen to ensure timely food preparation and service. Work with Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, Events and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences. Communicate operational issues and guest feedback to management. Ensure all relevant reports, checklists and closing procedures are completed accurately. Requirements Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Management or a related field preferred. Minimum 3–5 years of F&B experience, including at least 1–2 years in a supervisory position within a 5-star hotel, luxury resort, fine-dining restaurant or premium hospitality environment. Resort, beach club, outdoor dining or high-volume F&B experience will be an advantage. Strong knowledge of international food and beverage service standards. Experience with fine dining, buffet, à la carte, banquets and/or resort F&B operations. Good knowledge of POS systems and basic Microsoft Office applications. Food safety/hygiene certification is preferred. Excellent English communication skills; additional languages are an advantage. Strong leadership, interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Professional appearance, grooming and positive attitude. Ability to work shifts, weekends, public holidays and extended hours based on resort operations.
