Job description
We are seeking a highly autonomous Clinical Exercise Physiologist to manage our diagnostic suite, operate world-class testing hardware, and guide patients through data-driven health transformations.
Responsibilities
- Cardiopulmonary Testing (CPET & RMR): Independently administer and interpret VO2 Max and Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) assessments using the KORR Cardio Coach PRO metabolic cart paired with a commercial treadmill and an ergometer. You must be able to identify Ventilatory Thresholds (VT1/VT2) and establish targeted FatMax training zones for patients.
- Medical Body Composition (DXA): explain the results of the results of a GE Lunar DXA scan. It highlights regional lean mass symmetry, visceral fat index, and exact bone mineral density (BMD).
- Biomechanical & Strength Diagnostics: Conduct dynamic movement health assessments to track precise Range of Motion (ROM) and 3D skeletal tracking using Kinotek LiDAR technology. Execute peak isometric force and left-vs-right neuromuscular asymmetry testing utilizing the Activforce 2 digital dynamometer.
Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Clinical Exercise or sports Physiology, Human Movement Science.
- Certifications: Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist (ACSM-RCEP), Accredited Exercise Physiologist (ESSA-AEP).
- Hard Skills: Deep understanding of Indirect Calorimetry, Graded Exercise Testing (GXT), Substrate Utilization (RER).
- Note: Standard Personal Training certifications (e.g., NASM, ACE, ISSA) alone are strictly insufficient for this clinical role.
