Roles & Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in forklifts and material handling equipment, Reach Truck, Counter Pallet, Crown & VNA Machine
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks
• Conduct thorough inspections of forklifts to identify potential problems and safety concerns
• Repair and replace damaged or worn components such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and steering systems
• Inspect and repair forklift attachments and accessories, ensuring proper functionality
• Perform electrical and electronic diagnostics and repairs on forklift control systems
• Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to perform repairs and maintenance
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including parts used and labor hours
• Collaborate with team members to provide efficient and effective solutions for complex forklift issues
• Keep abreast of industry developments, new technologies, and best practices in forklift maintenance and repair

Desired Candidate Profile

• Proven experience as a Forklift Mechanic (2-5 years)

• Technical education or certification in forklift mechanics or a related field is preferred

• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for forklift systems

• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent attention to detail and safety-conscious

• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime when required

• A valid driver's license is preferred
