Develop, implement, & maintain robust QA/QC policies, manuals, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality management systems (QMS) in alignment with standard frameworks (ISO 9001).
Develop & deliver quality training programs to ensure that all employees are aware of quality standards & procedures.
Monitor production processes, manage inspections (raw materials, in-process, finished products), ensure adherence to specifications & ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans) to prevent issues leading to poor product quality.
Ensure adherence & compliance to industry standards, codes & regulations and project specifications and standards.
Ensure that customer expectations are not just met but exceeded. Complaints are investigated and resolve quickly; field feedback are turned into actionable improvements with zero recurrence.
Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for non-conformities & implement effective corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) in coordination with cross-functional teams.
Drive process enhancements by establishing procedures for testing of products, materials and packaging, reduce defects, minimizing waste (scrap) & rework and optimizing resource utilization to improve overall efficiency.
Conduct regular audits &inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards & regulations, analyse & report on quality metrics, and audit findings to senior management.
Prepare quality reports, maintain records (test logs, non-conformances), and ensure data accuracy.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field is essential for foundational knowledge.
Certification in Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO is preferred to demonstrate expertise in quality frameworks & Lead Auditor.)
Overall 15 years experience with minimum 5 years of experience in management roles, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or engineering sectors.
Proven track record of implementing quality control processes that resulted in measurable improvements in project outcomes.
