Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Banquet Server role based in Doha, Qatar. The Banquet Server is responsible for setting up banquet rooms, arranging tables, chairs, linens, and service stations according to event specifications. Daily tasks include serving food and beverages, refilling drinks, clearing plates, and maintaining a clean and organized service area throughout events. The role involves coordinating with the banquet team and kitchen staff, responding promptly to guest requests, and ensuring that guests have a positive and comfortable experience. Banquet Servers are expected to follow health and safety standards, adhere to company policies, and assist with post-event breakdown and reset. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Food Service and Food & Beverage skills, including safe handling and service of meals and drinks. Candidates should possess solid Customer Service and Communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Candidates should possess excellent Interpersonal Skills to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Previous experience in banquets, catering, restaurants, or hotel food service is beneficial. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry trays or equipment, and work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Knowledge of basic health, safety, and hygiene practices in food service settings is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; vocational training in hospitality or food service is an advantage. Professional appearance, reliability, and a positive, service-oriented attitude are essential.
