Roles & Responsibilities
Plan, supervise, and coordinate daily lifting operations.
Prepare, review, and implement Method Statements, Risk Assessments (RA), and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
Conduct lift planning, heavy lift route studies, and site assessments before execution.
Ensure all lifting equipment, accessories, and cranes are inspected, certified, and compliant with applicable standards.
Verify lifting plans and ensure safe execution of routine and critical lifts.
Identify potential hazards and implement appropriate risk control measures.
Ensure compliance with company HSE procedures and international lifting regulations.
Coordinate with project teams, crane operators, riggers, and subcontractors to execute lifting activities safely and efficiently.
Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings before lifting operations.
Maintain accurate records of lifting equipment certifications, inspections, and lifting activities.
Desired Candidate Profile
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or related discipline).
Minimum 8 years of experience in lifting operations within the Oil & Gas industry.
At least 3 years of experience in lifting equipment inspection and certification in the GCC.
LEEA Certification (Mandatory).
TÜV Certification (Mandatory).
Strong knowledge of international lifting standards, codes, and best practices.
Experience in preparing lift plans, method statements, risk assessments, and JSAs.
Offshore Oil & Gas experience is mandatory.
Excellent understanding of HSE regulations and safe lifting practices.
Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
