Job Description:

Leads the monitoring and oversight of the Topsides & STP Contractor Team field planning, coordination, and execution activities within designated area of responsibility. Prepares and provides routine verbal and written progress reports to the HOC, FAB yard-2 and updates S-curve performance of the contractor with analysis to achieve progress. Your Tasks:

1. Provides safety leadership by example to the Offshore Project Team and the offshore Contractor and its sub-contractors and site vendors.
2. Responsible for Ensuring the offshore contractor team Implements and sustains its obligations and responsibilities for SHES project deliverables.
3. As Offshore Project Team Construction representative for monitoring and coordinating site activities of the offshore Contractor team and its subcontractor(s) in their area of responsibility.
4. Reports on the construction activities, Progress, areas of concern and mitigating actions to head of Construction Fabrication yard-2 and participate & contribute to weekly construction discipline review meetings.
5. Responsible for implementation of execution activities and ensures development, review, and approval (as required) of appropriate plans, procedures, and programs for safe and effective execution. This includes authorization of COMPANY permits wherever necessary.
6. Reviews and approves the offshore Contractor team s Construction Sequence plans, work plans, pre-task planning and method statements and participate in Constructability reviews, Hazid workshops during construction to ensure comprehensive safety and feasibility in their area of responsibility.
7. Help in identifying and organizing all required construction support (Third Party support, Joint-Venture partner technical support, etc.) in liaison with the Offshore Topsides & STPs.
8. Review construction risks and assist in providing mitigation measures. Report Risks to the Offshore Head of Construction Fab Yard 2, review the EPCI schedule level 3 prepared by the Contractor.
9. Monitors site material handling, preservation, and warehousing procedures with respect to their area to facilitate construction progress.

Your Profile: Engineering Degree or similar, relevant experience may be taken if coupled with HNC/HND, however any qualification, technical or knowledge requirements may be waived through relevant work experience. 10 years of major oil and gas offshore project experience in a fabrication or construction capacity. Minimum 10 yrs. experience in fabrication, construction within the offshore oil and gas industry. Experience with Offshore Top sides and similar construction work at supervisory level and exhaustive experience for the preparation, fabrication, and construction of offshore structures with EPCI contractors.
