Business Development Manager (offshore equipment)

Business Development Manager (offshore equipment) Job Purpose: In the role of Business Development Manager, you will be a strategic partner for clients. From day one, you will use your expertise and experience to provide input into discussions for creating a business impact in the regional offshore industry. You will identify and address client needs and make sure to meet them with the great service which company is known for. Your work will include working closely together with various company stakeholders, including those responsible for operations and business development. This role is initially based at our Qatar office. Please note, that depending on how the business might develop in the future, relocation within the GCC might be applicable for this role, after a period of time at our regional head office in Lusail (Qatar). Responsibilities: • Identifying and prioritising leads, and building strong relationships within the entire sales cycle • Reporting progress on your opportunities and projects via actionable Customer Visit Reports (CVRs) in our CRM system • Serving client needs by participating in tenders and creating fitting proposals • Realising predetermined sales targets in your specific region or market segments • Collaborating with other stakeholders in- and outside of company to deliver the quality of service our clients expect from us • After closing a deal, continuing to work with the Operations department to ensure client needs are fully met during the project lifecycle Requirements: • Preferred, BSc or MSc degree with a focus on either Business and/or Engineering • Demonstrable experience of 5+ years, of which 3+ years within sales or business development roles • A strong background in an offshore and/or marine industry • An affinity (or background) with technology and offshore services and equipment • Experience with bringing new technology and innovations to market • Willingness to travel (average 1-2 weeks per month) as often as required • Ability to demonstrate at interview stage, evidence of sales skills (track record) in a technical environment • Office365 and CRM skills to meet the needs of this dynamic role You get: • A great innovative working environment with significant opportunities for personal development • A high degree of responsibility and room to have significant impact • Excellent secondary benefits (e.g. flexible working hours, working from home policy, bountiful leave, tier 1 health insurance) •Company Academy for all your personal and professional development needs Location: Doha , Qatar Tagged as: Office #J-18808-Ljbffr
