Director of Operations – Hotel

This position is responsible for assisting with the planning and managing of the overall operations of the Hotel to achieve customer (guests, employees, corporate, and owners) satisfaction and quality service while meeting/exceeding financial goals. He/she is also responsible for ensuring that all administrative records related to the owners, governments, and hotel operations are updated promptly.

  1. Develop, recommend, implement, and manage the operational department’s annual and long-term goals
  2. Conduct daily briefings with management on current key activities
  3. Ensures optimal compliance with corporate focus audit, local health and safety, and other statutory regulations
  4. To manage operational efficiency in the hotel to enhance the Guest experience and reduce operational costs
  5. Anticipate and address guest issues, establish proactive processes to promote guest satisfaction
  6. Communicate in an effective and timely manner with General Manager
  7. To manage emergencies that may arise to minimize possible damage, loss, or injury to any guests, Heartist, or Company property
  8. To regularly observe the team in the operation, review operational performance, and lead the team to success
  9. Be visible around the Hotel and show an active interest in our colleagues’ welfare
  10. Oversee F&B, Rooms, Sales & Marketing, Engineering, and other operations departments and support the security team in achieving overall results
  11. Follow appropriate protocol in communicating with the appointed Owner’s representative and keep the General Manager informed of such communications
