- Develop and float RFQ documents from the project specifications/input from Engineering.
- Co-ordinate technical bid evaluation, do commercial bid evaluation and process activities to purchase order.
- Work within a established procedure to achieve a professional, ethical, reliable, professional and cost effective total procurement service through market research, budget and estimating evaluations.
- Assist the procurement, budget and contract manager in implementing effective procurement guidelines, policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies.
- Investigate potential suppliers.
- Propose enquiries to specified and non specified vendors and obtain quotation.
- Receive and evaluate bids as per standard criteria and negotiate price and payment terms.
- Evaluate vendor’s proposal technically in compliance with project specifications.
- Process and issue purchase orders.
- Evaluate supplier’s quotation against the tender requirements such as capacity, quantity and specifications deviations.
