Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget.
2. Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
3. Coordinate and oversee engineering design, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities to meet project objectives and client requirements.
4. Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and technical evaluations to identify optimal solutions and mitigate project risks.
5. Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, addressing engineering challenges and ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
6. Manage project documentation, including engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and traceability.
7. Liaise with clients, vendors, contractors, and regulatory agencies to facilitate project communication, resolve technical issues, and obtain necessary approvals.
8. Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and implement corrective actions as needed to achieve project milestones and deliverables.
9. Conduct regular site inspections, quality audits, and safety reviews to ensure adherence to engineering standards, specifications, and best practices.
10. Prepare and present project updates, progress reports, and technical presentations to internal and external stakeholders, including senior management and clients.
Skills
Preferred Industry Experience: Oil & Gas / Telecom
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field). Master's degree or professional certifications preferred.
2. Minimum of 7-8 years of progressive experience in engineering project management, preferably in the oil and gas, telecommunications, or related industries.
3. Proven track record of successfully managing complex engineering projects from concept through execution, with demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills.
4. Strong technical proficiency in engineering principles, design software, and project management tools.
5. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
6. Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices relevant to engineering project management.
7. Experience with budgeting, cost estimation, and financial analysis related to engineering projects.
8. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing project requirements in a dynamic environment.
9. Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and environmental stewardship in all aspects of project execution.
10. Willingness to travel to project sites and client locations as required.
