Logistics & Procurement Coordinator

Qatar - Doha

Logistics:

  • Communicates with suppliers and retailers to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction
  • Review freight rates and other transportation costs to keep working costs low
  • Organizes transportation activities including storage of goods, managing information from point of origin to delivery, tracking transportation movements, and arranging for services as necessary
  • Keep logs and records of warehouse stock, executed orders, etc.
  • Supervise orders and arrange stocking of raw materials and equipment to ensure they meet needs

Procurement:

  • Prepares plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies.
  • Reviews compare and analyze products and services to be purchased.
  • Manages inventories and maintains accurate purchase and pricing records.
  • Maintains good supplier relations and negotiating contracts.
  • Researches and evaluates prospective suppliers.

Requirements:

  • 2 years minimum work experience in procurement & logistics
  • Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
  • Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
  • BSC/BA in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or relevant field
  • Valid QID with NOC
