Software Project Manager (Odoo)

The Software project Manager will be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and Development Unit. They have many responsibilities that includes typical project management responsibilities to support the implementation of projects across different organization. They will be required to arrange the training as needed and support all project activities.

 

Roles & Responsibilities

- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/Freelancers for the flawless execution of projects

- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

- Developing project scopes and objectives based on the client requirement covering all business entities in the organization and ensuring technical feasibility

- Ensure resource availability and allocation

- Develop a detailed project plan to track progress

- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques

- Report and escalate to the responsible lead and the management as needed

- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

- Identify, define, and document key processes and business requirements.

- Create Use Cases for business applications and work with IT teams to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications through technical walkthrough meetings.

- Facilitate structured Root Cause Analysis, Requirements and Brainstorming sessions to tackle complex business cases and able to translate that into technical specifications.

 

Qualifications

- Master/Bachelor Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Application or any related subject

- Proven track record in managing ERP Software Projects

 

Knowledge, skills and experience

- Knowledge and experience of process management methodologies & business analysis methodologies.

- At least 5 years in software business analysis, process analysis, business application development

- Used to work in multi-national teams located in different places.

- Efficient interaction with C-level Managers, Clients and Internal Departments

- Knowledge base in software development and implementation strategies

- Fluent English mandatory.

 

Will be a plus if the following skill set are there

- odoo,python,xml,JavaScript

- PostgreSQL, MySQL 

- AWS tools

- Data Base Administration

- Web Security and Server Management 

- Windows and Linux Administration
