Manage daily/ weekly/ monthly sales activities:
• Develop sales plans, activities, and campaigns and manage the day-to-day activities of a sales team
• Prepare sales forecasts and budgets monthly
• Monitor sales volume, revenues, and cost against forecasts to identify problem areas; and adapt procedures or re-allocate resources to improve the overall performance of the sales team.
• Negotiate sales with existing and new customers who are of strategic importance to the organization.
• Contribute to the development of sales, marketing, and customer retention, advertising, pricing and distribution strategies for area of responsibility.
• Coordinate and assists in other tasks as needed and works with other departments to resolve issues either directly or indirectly relating to Trucking Vendors / Agents / Shipping Line … to ensure for satisfied service to Company’s customers
Manage and motivate and develop the Sales Team Members:
• Establish KPIs and cascade to sales members based on staffs’ competencies/ sales network/ experience… and frequently performance reviews to have timely support to employees for goal achievement
• Coach sales representative on the technical aspects of the organization’s products and service; on marketing campaigns and sales promotions;
• Supervise and train sales team members to in all aspect to achieve sales target.
• Define desired targets or goals and partner with the employees to identify actions required to bring performance into target range;
• Build an integrated implementation plan to achieve overarching strategic goals.
• Manpower plans
Build-up good relationship with existing & potential Customers and develop the sales market segment to achieve the long term sales objectives and KPIs:
• Frequently or periodically visit to existing customers.
• Catch up the trend of customers’ requirements to have efficient methods for approaching.
• Set up and deploy the standard of customer’s service guideline for Sale Functions.
• Implement customer service procedures to ensure customers satisfaction
• Develop sales network and price structure to attain targets and increase revenues.
• Study market conditions to pinpoint new break or prospect and possible threats.
• Negotiate agreements and resolve potential issues or problem with Customers
• Others as works required.
Maintain consistent & efficient organizational network:
• Liaise with functional or operational Managers to develop and implement organizational relations programs or activities that are appropriate for business needs.
• Lead, direct, evaluate a team of sales and communications professionals to make sure that all sales works are conducted in a timely and efficient manner.
• Closely co-operate with functional Managers for smoothly operating.
