المسؤوليات الرئيسية
تحت إشراف رئيس قسم المخاطر والامتثال في الخليج، يُتوقع من المرشح العمل بالتعاون مع قطاعات الأعمال لتحقيق التوازن بين الرغبة في النمو المستدام والحاجة إلى تعظيم العوائد المعدلة حسب المخاطر ضمن نطاق الرغبة في المخاطرة لشركة متلايف.
- العمل كجهة معتمدة لمراقبة المخاطر لعمليات قطر وضمان التنفيذ الفعال لمتطلبات إدارة المخاطر المحلية، بما في ذلك على سبيل المثال لا الحصر اللائحة التنفيذية لمصرف قطر المركزي.
- ضمان التنفيذ الفعال للمتطلبات التنظيمية لإدارة المخاطر والالتزام المستمر بالتوقعات التنظيمية المعمول بها.
- تنسيق التقديمات والردود التنظيمية المتعلقة بمسائل إدارة المخاطر.
- دعم تطوير وإعادة تطبيق والتحسين المستمر لإطار إدارة المخاطر، بما في ذلك المراجعة الدورية والتحديث لسياسات ومعايير وإجراءات إدارة المخاطر لضمان التوافق مع المتطلبات التنظيمية وأفضل الممارسات في القطاع.

- تنسيق وتسهيل عملية التقييم السنوي للمخاطر غير المالية (NFRA) عبر وظائف الأعمال.
- ضمان توثيق وتقييم المخاطر الرئيسية والضوابط والمخاطر الناشئة وخطط المعالجة بشكل مناسب.
- مراجعة وتقييم وتحدي تقييمات المخاطر المقدمة من مسؤولي الأعمال والوظائف.
- التواصل مع أصحاب المصلحة الإقليميين والدوليين لدعم تقييمات المخاطر من الأعلى إلى الأسفل ومن الأسفل إلى الأعلى.
- إدارة عملية الإبلاغ عن أحداث المخاطر التشغيلية، بما في ذلك تحليل السبب الجذر والدروس المستفادة.
- متابعة خطط عمل المخاطر التشغيلية ودعم جهود معالجة المشكلات.
- تطوير وتقديم دورات توعوية وتدريبية حول إدارة المخاطر لتعزيز ثقافة مخاطر قوية وزيادة فهم متطلبات إدارة المخاطر عبر المؤسسة.
- دعم تطوير ومراقبة والإبلاغ عن بيانات الرغبة في المخاطرة (RAS) ومؤشرات المخاطر الرئيسية (KRIs).
- مراقبة التعرض للمخاطر مقابل الحدود والعتبات المعتمدة.
- تنسيق مواد لجنة المخاطر والعروض التقديمية وتوثيق الاجتماعات.
- تتبع إجراءات اللجنة والمتابعة مع أصحاب المصلحة لضمان إنجازها في الوقت المناسب.
- مراقبة المخاطر الناشئة والاتجاهات الخارجية الرئيسية، تقديم الرؤى والتقارير للإدارة ولجان الحوكمة حول التأثيرات المحتملة على الأعمال واستراتيجيات التخفيف منها.
- التواصل مع فرق المخاطر الإقليمية والعالمية لضمان التوافق مع متطلبات المؤسسة.
- تقديم الإشراف والتوجيه بشأن المخاطر لمبادرات الأعمال والمشاريع وبرامج التغيير.
المؤهلات المطلوبة
- خبرة لا تقل عن 5 سنوات في قطاع التأمين كمدير مخاطر أو ما يعادلها.
- درجة البكالوريوس/المجستير في إدارة الأعمال أو القانون أو مجال ذي صلة.
- مؤهل مهني معترف به في إدارة المخاطر على مستوى شهادة.
- خبرة وفهم لعمليات إدارة المخاطر.
- فهم جيد لنهج "خطوط الدفاع الثلاثة" في إدارة المخاطر.
- فطنة تجارية قوية.
- إتقان ممتاز للغة الإنجليزية تحدثًا وكتابة.

The Opportunity
The Senior General Risk Management Analyst plays a key role in supporting the effective identification, assessment, monitoring, and reporting of risks across the organization. The role is responsible for analyzing the Company's overall risk profile, including operational, market, credit, liquidity, and insurance risks, and providing insights and recommendations to support informed decision-making and risk mitigation.
This is an exciting opportunity for a risk professional to contribute to the enhancement of the Enterprise Risk Management framework, support regulatory compliance, and partner with business leaders to strengthen risk awareness and resilience across the organization. The position also supports the preparation of risk reporting, risk assessments, governance activities, and regulatory engagements. This role is subject to prior regulatory approval by the Qatar Central Bank (QCB).
Key Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Gulf Head of Risk and Compliance, the candidate will be expected to work collaboratively with the business to balance the desire for sustainable growth with the need to maximize risk adjusted returns within the risk appetite of MetLife.
- To act as the approved risk control function for the Qatar operations and ensure effective implementation of local risk management requirements including but not limited to the QCB Executive Regulations
- Ensure effective implementation of risk management regulatory requirements and ongoing adherence to applicable regulatory expectations.
- Coordinate regulatory submissions and responses related to risk management matters.
- Support the development, implementation, and continuous enhancement of the Risk Management Framework, including the periodic review and update of risk management policies, standards, and procedures to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Facilitate risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and reporting across business functions.
- Coordinate and facilitate the annual Non-Financial Risk Assessment (NFRA) process across business functions.
- Ensure key risks, controls, emerging risks, and remediation plans are appropriately documented and assessed.
- Challenge and review risk assessments submitted by business and functional owners.
- Liaise with regional and global stakeholders to support top-down and bottom-up risk assessments.
- Manage the operational risk event reporting process, including root cause analysis and lessons learned.
- Monitor operational risk action plans and support issue remediation efforts.
- Develop and deliver risk management awareness and training sessions to promote a strong risk culture and enhance understanding of risk management requirements across the organization.
- Support the development, monitoring, and reporting of Risk Appetite Statements (RAS) and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
- Monitor risk exposures against approved limits and thresholds.
- Coordinate risk committee materials, presentations, and meeting documentation.
- Track committee actions and follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely completion.
- Monitor emerging risks and key external trends, and provide insights and reporting to management and governance committees on potential business impacts and mitigation strategies.
- Liaise with regional and global risk teams to ensure alignment with enterprise requirements.
- Provide risk oversight and guidance for business initiatives, projects, and change programs.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years’ experience in insurance industry as Risk Manager or equivalent
- Bachelors/ master’s degree in business administration, law or related field
- A recognized risk management professional qualification at certificate level.
- Experience and understanding of risk management processes.
- A good understanding of the “Three Lines of Defence” approach to risk management.
- Strong business acumen.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Confident and enthusiastic self-starter, able to challenge and influence others at all levels.
