Work Schedule
✅ 75% Onshore / 25% Offshore
✅ Rotation: 12 Weeks ON / 2 Weeks OFF
✅ 6 Days per Week
✅ 8-10 Hours per Day
Job Purpose
We are seeking an experienced Lifting Lead (Offshore) to serve as the focal point for reviewing, approving, and executing project lifting scopes across multiple onshore and offshore projects. The role requires strong technical expertise in lifting operations, assurance processes, safety leadership, and compliance with international standards.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Lead safe, timely, and effective execution of project lifting operations.
✔ Implement and manage lifting assurance programs in compliance with company standards.
✔ Participate in lifting risk assessments, critical lift reviews, and incident investigations.
✔ Provide technical guidance and support for complex lifting challenges.
✔ Ensure lifting equipment inspections, certifications, and compliance requirements are met.
✔ Promote lifting safety culture, best practices, and Life Saving Rules.
✔ Coordinate with contractors, vendors, certification bodies, and project stakeholders.
✔ Support continuous improvement of lifting standards and procedures.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Sciences
OPITO - LOLER Competent Person Certification
Experience Requirements
✅ Minimum 8 years of experience in major Oil & Gas construction projects
✅ Experience in offshore/onshore lifting operations, fabrication, installation, hook-up, and commissioning activities
✅ Strong knowledge of lifting equipment inspections, certifications, and verifications
✅ Experience with compliance and assurance programs for lifting disciplines
✅ Knowledge of API, ASME, BS, DNV, ISO, and LOLER standards
✅ Experience as Lifting SME or Technical Authority is highly preferred
✅ QatarEnergy LNG standards experience is an advantage
