Position: Audio Engineer

Type: Hourly contract

Compensation: $25 - $55/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10 40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

Perform audio QA to identify, document, and resolve quality issues in audio datasets. Analyze, process, and prepare audio files using professional audio tools. Restore and enhance recordings to ensure clarity, fidelity, and consistency. Analyze complex waveforms and provide detailed technical insights and reports. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on audio quality standards. Maintain high attention to detail across all stages of audio processing. Communicate findings and technical information clearly in written and verbal formats.

Requirements

Native-level proficiency in English with excellent communication skills. Bachelor s degree in Audio Engineering or a related field. Strong experience in audio QA, restoration, and audio tool usage. Strong analytical skills in waveform analysis and audio diagnostics. High attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment. Familiarity with audio processing workflows and dataset preparation.
