The Senior Finance Analyst role is an essential part in ensuring the financial processes and reporting are accurate, reliable and managed in a timely way. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the role is part of a small team responsible for ensuring efficient and effective financial operations, financial accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate and timely reports as directed by the Finance Manager.
• Execute all financial processes under his or her control accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with all appropriate financial regulations.
• Supporting the preparation for financial audits – ensuring all financial records and documents are accurate and accessible as required.
• Identifying financial risk and supporting the development of appropriate controls and risk mitigation.
• Deputizing for the Finance Manager, as requested.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or similar discipline.
• Will ideally be a qualified CPA or be prepared to study for CPA
• Min 4 years prior experience in a broad finance role and will ideally have exposure to and understanding of fintech or financial services and regulatory requirements
• Hands-on experience of preparing financial reports and statements – revenue, cashflow and balance sheet
• Use of financial software and accounting tools
