Responsibilities:

Project Management:
Lead and coordinate the technical elements of water system projects from conception to completion, supporting adherence to timelines and budgets.
Hold contractors accountable to deliver on schedule and to the standards laid out in the water system designs.
Collaborate with the company and partner teams, as well as local communities, government agencies, and contractors.
Quality Assurance:
Implement quality control measures to guarantee the reliability, safety and longevity of water infrastructure.
Conduct regular and thorough reviews of work completed on site to ensure compliance with the technical specifications and to ensure contractors are completing work to the highest standard.
Conduct regular inspections and assessments of ongoing projects to identify and address potential issues.
Technical Assessment:
Conduct thorough site assessments with the company’s scoping team to evaluate the feasibility and technical requirements of water projects.
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders including hydrogeologists to gather data and ensure accurate project planning and system design.

Work Experience:

Must have minimum of 3 years working as a water system engineer or similar
Ideally more than 5 years of experience leading water system project design and installation

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in designing and implementing water systems, particularly in rural settings.
