Job Description

Door Attendant

This position is responsible for providing a welcoming and courteous experience to guests as they enter and exit the building. The role involves ensuring security, assisting with luggage, answering inquiries, and maintaining the cleanliness of the entrance area.

• Warmly greet guests and residents upon arrival and departure.
• Open doors and assist with entering and exiting the building.
• Provide assistance with luggage and packages as needed.
• Monitor and control access to the building, ensuring only authorized individuals enter.
• Maintain awareness of the surroundings to ensure a safe environment.
• Report any suspicious activity or security concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Provide information and directions to guests.
• Respond promptly and courteously to inquiries and requests.
• Coordinate with other staff to fulfill guest needs.
• Arrange for any necessary repairs or maintenance in the entrance area.
• Communicate effectively with other staff members, including security, concierge, and housekeeping.
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, front office, or a similar role is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting luggage as needed.
