Job Summary
This Company is actively seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join their Mechanical Services Shops Department within the Planning and Technical Services Division. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in the manufacturing industry and have expertise in understanding and reviewing manufacturing drawings of spare parts used in automotive, drilling, and rotating equipment fields. Proficiency in utilizing various manufacturing machines and tools, including software applications such as Solid Work, Pully work, Geomajic CAMworks, MasterCam, and Siemens NX, is essential.
Candidates with experience in reverse engineering and familiarity with software like Solid Work, Geomagic Design X, and Polyworks are highly preferred. Additionally, proficiency in 3D printing is desired. An important aspect of the role is the ability to mentor and develop other young engineers.
The Mechanical Services Shops Department (MSSD) boasts state-of-the-art workshops and facilities, which are powered by its skilled and experienced workforce. The primary responsibility of the department is to maintain This Company's rotating and stationary equipment. This plays a critical role in the company as it offers support to all field organizations by ensuring the maintenance and repair of corporate equipment. Responsibilities:
- Consultation in all aspects of normal and emergency manufacturing procedures and standards.
- Providing technical support for materials used in parts manufacturing and reviewing manufacturing drawings.
- Supporting installation, maintenance, and repair of rotating equipment.
- Troubleshooting, repairing, modifying existing equipment, conducting reverse engineering, and identifying cost reductions & process improvements.
- Introducing the latest technology in repair methodology.
- Ability to design engineering manufacturing packages.
- Providing coaching and knowledge sharing to Junior Engineers.
- Participating in vendor and customer exchange meetings.
- Participating in standards value engineering.
Requirements:
- This role required candidate to permanently relocate at Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 7 years' hands-on experience in Mechanical Manufacturing field as specified in the position description.
- Experience in manufacturing with OEM (original equipment manufacturing) facilities such as Flowserve, Sulzer, ITT Goulds, GE-Nuovo Pignone, Elliott, Dresser-Rand, Clarke.
- Experience in mechanical manufacturing design, drawing, and parts manufacturing of oil and gas rotating equipment, such as gas compressors, steam turbines, pumps, and gearboxes.
- Must have good communication skills in English, including speaking, reading, and writing.
