Job Details:

Role: Securities offering and Listing Consultant

Employment Type: 15 – 18 months contract

Location: Doha, Qatar

Notice Period: Immediate joiners to a max of 15 - 30 days of notice

Key Skills:

· Strong knowledge of capital markets and financial structure.

· Strong expertise in capital market products, offering and listing process and requirements

· Knowledge of CFA and international standards.

· Proficiency in Arabic and English is essential

· Experience: 10+ years minimum

Description:

· Develop policies and procedures for the department

· Manage rulebooks related to offering and listing of securities, sukuk, bonds, funds and advisors on primary and secondary markets and ensure alignment of provisions with market needs and with the strategic direction of the financial sector.

· Draft new and amend existing provisions as required in coordination with the legal department and with external stakeholders and ministries involved in issuing the rulebooks.

· Ensure that provisions related to securities, offerings and listings are updated at any given time on the website and available to all individuals and companies under authority’s jurisdiction.

· Ensure that mergers and acquisitions rules are in line with market needs and leading practices and review them as necessary in coordination with external stakeholder and with the Ministry of Economy and Commerce.

· Manage the delisting procedures of public shareholding companies listed in the main market and monitor implementation.

· In line with internationally accepted valuation principles and procedures, lead the review of evaluation studies conducted by the team any by independent evaluators and provide final recommendation and review decisions issued with regards to securities, offerings, listings and mergers and acquisitions.

· Review IPO applications according to the provisions of the rulebook
