The successful candidate will be responsible for efficient scheduling of deliveries, proper routing of trucks, attending telephone orders and other information related to delivery of products and also monitoring and reporting of the fleet management system.
Ideal candidate must have a valid Qatar driving license and a minimum of 5 years' experience in a Logistics role in the Heavy vehicle Transportation industry.
Job Responsibilities Developing efficient driver schedules to maximize profits. Scheduling regular vehicle maintenance to ensure operational efficiency. Ensuring strict servicing and maintenance times to minimize downtime and maintain schedules. Upon the Completion of the maintenance work, sent the invoice for booking and inform operations team to Close the Job Follow up with suppliers for the invoices for the work done. Monitoring driver behaviour and ensuring a high level of customer service. Sending daily, weekly & monthly reports ensure the accuracy of monthly closing reports. Involving in driving hiring process to select best drivers. Guiding drivers for offloading to different destinations and assist for the documents needed Registration process for trucks/trailers and follow up it with government authorities. QHSE Management & Support Carry out system administration tasks as required for Oracle and the FMS to manage fleet.
