Role Description The ICT Teacher is a full-time, on-site position based in Doha, Qatar. This role involves planning and delivering engaging ICT lessons aligned with the American curriculum for various grade levels. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching concepts in information technology and computer science, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback. The teacher will integrate technology into classroom activities, support learners in developing digital literacy and communication skills, and maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications Candidates should be a qualified teacher with appropriate teaching certifications and experience in ICT or related subjects. Candidates should possess strong skills in Information Technology and Computer Science to effectively deliver curriculum content. Candidates should demonstrate effective Communication skills for clear instruction, collaboration with staff, and engagement with learners and families. Candidates should have proven Lesson Planning abilities, including designing structured, age-appropriate, and differentiated ICT lessons. Relevant bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required; advanced degrees are an advantage. Experience teaching in an international or American curriculum school setting is highly beneficial. Ability to use educational technologies, learning management systems, and digital tools to enhance teaching and learning.
