Job description

The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while delivering excellent customer service. The role involves maintaining bar cleanliness, managing stock, following hygiene and food safety standards, and ensuring guests receive prompt and professional service.


RequirementsResposibilities

Prepare and serve cocktails, mocktails, and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
Take guest orders accurately and provide recommendations on beverages when required.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bar counter, equipment, glassware, and surrounding areas.
Monitor beverage stock levels and assist with inventory, replenishment, and proper storage.
Ensure correct portioning, presentation, and quality of all beverages served.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and bar safety procedures at all times.
Handle guest requests and complaints professionally and provide excellent customer service.
Coordinate with service and kitchen teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
Ensure all bar equipment is properly cleaned, maintained, and stored after use.
Follow company policies and responsible beverage service procedures.

RequirementsMinimum 1–2 years of experience as a Bartender, preferably in 4 or 5-star hotels, restaurants, or lounges.
Good knowledge of cocktails, mocktails, beverage recipes, glassware, and bar equipment.
Experience in stock handling, beverage preparation, and bar hygiene standards.
Excellent communication and customer service skills with good spoken English.
Good grooming, personal hygiene, and a professional attitude.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and during busy service periods.
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Must have a valid Qatar ID.
Must have a valid Food Handler Certificate.
