Key Responsibilities Conduct fire, explosion, and loss-prevention studies (e.g., HAZOP, QRA, fire & gas mapping) as required by the project. Review process safety and loss-prevention deliverables for compliance with QatarEnergy standards. Support design reviews and ensure incorporation of loss-prevention recommendations into engineering deliverables. Provide technical input on fire protection, gas detection, and emergency shutdown/response systems. Liaise with QatarEnergy loss-prevention department on studies, reviews, and close-out of actions.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s Degree in Electrical / Process / Chemical / Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent Minimum 7 10 years Oil & Gas experience Experience in process safety, risk assessment, and loss prevention engineering Knowledge of HAZOP, HAZID, and safety studies preferred
