Roles & Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat complex orthopedic conditions in both equine and canine patients, utilizing advanced imaging and diagnostic techniques.
- Perform intricate orthopedic surgeries, including fracture repair, arthroscopy, and joint replacement, with precision and care.
- Develop and implement tailored post-operative rehabilitation plans to optimize recovery and return to function for each patient.
- Collaborate effectively with referring veterinarians, providing expert consultation and seamless case management.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a rigorous small animal and/or large animal rotating internship.
- Completion of a specialized orthopedic residency program (ACVS, ECVS, or equivalent).
- Board certification in Veterinary Orthopedics (e.g., DACVS, DECVSO) is highly preferred.
