We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer specializing in Transformer Oil Analysis to join our team. We are looking for candidates with a strong background in electrical power utilities, a deep understanding of Transformer substation equipment, and expertise in transformer oil analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and critically evaluate all technical inputs/reports from the Contractor's project team.
• Evaluate oil test data, review lab recommendations, study trends, decide criticality, and derive the health of transformers.
• Maintain and study asset data related to oil analysis and report to Gulf Lab at regular intervals as per requirements, with clear conclusions and recommendations.
• Provide recommendations for corrective action and test frequency.
• Effectively utilize Condition Monitoring software, including RCM-based Asset Performance Management Decision Support Systems.
• Provide technical solutions to Condition Monitoring-related issues.
• Check the accuracy and correctness of data.
• Attend progress meetings whenever required by Gulf Lab, along with the Project Manager, and facilitate smooth administration of the Contract.
• Carry out all works in accordance with the Contract, Technical Requirements, etc.

Skills

Qualifications, Experience & Certifications:

• B.Sc. Degree in Electrical Engineering
• A total 15 years of experience in an Electrical Power Utility or Company as an Electrical Engineer in transformer substation.
• Minimum 5 years of experience for projects related to transformer Oil Analysis.
• Preferably a professional member of international technical committees such as IEEE, IEC, CIGRE, etc.
• Good communication skills in English language
• Very well-versed in oil analysis.
• Advanced training received from a recognized organization on Power Transformers and Oil Analysis.
• Sound technical knowledge of Transmission Substations equipment.
• Should be able to independently evaluate the health of Transmission Substation equipment and provide recommendations.
• Sound knowledge of risk analysis, criticality index, and RCM-based asset performance management decision support systems.
• Conversant with all aspects of safety with high-voltage installations.
• Sound knowledge of international standards.
