Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and certified RTFI Technician to join our Quality Control team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will perform advanced Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) techniques to ensure material and structural integrity. This role requires expertise in Radiographic Testing (RT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Penetrant Testing (PT), and Ultrasonic Testing (UT) with a strong foundation in physics, chemistry, and mathematics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct Radiographic Testing (RT), MT, PT, and UT to evaluate material integrity.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, specifications, and safety guidelines.
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
  • Interpret results to identify defects, weaknesses, or flaws.
  • Maintain and calibrate NDT equipment for optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality control teams to support production and quality assurance.
  • Assist in developing and improving inspection methods and techniques.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations during testing and inspections.


Required Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) or a Diploma in a related field.

Technical Certifications:

  • ASNT Level II in RT, MT, PT, UT.
  • PCN Certification in Radiographic Testing and Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (RTFI).

Experience:

  • Prior experience performing NDT inspections with a strong understanding of procedures and equipment.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and interpretation of complex technical data.
  • Proficient in using NDT equipment and tools.
  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in oil & gas, aerospace, or manufacturing industries.
  • Additional certifications or training in NDT techniques.

Working Conditions

  • Requires use of protective equipment and work in challenging environments, including exposure to radiation during Radiographic Testing.
  • Flexibility to work in varying shifts and environments.
