About The Role

We are recruiting for Production Planning Engineer Level 1 with Light Maintenance Production Control Center to be based in Doha, Qatar.

Production Planning Engineer Level 1 will provide operational support for Planning Functions including work scope definition, maintenance plans preparation, control of check layovers, capacity planning, fleet wide modification plan preparation, replacement staggering plan for hard time components and management of aircraft deferred defects & trouble shooting recommendations, with a view to optimize resources, minimize costs and ensure airworthiness.

Operational

Specific responsibilities of the role include:

• Support in preparation of Maintenance Plans for Line, Light and Heavy Maintenance by compiling preliminary data (due dates, aircraft requirements and maintenance check limits).
• Support in planning and scheduling of deferred defects and troubleshooting recommendations by loading selected defects on the shift action plans.
• Contribute in preparation and development of Shift Line Action Plan and provide assistance to Planning Engineer Level-II in executing the Line Action Plan.
• Contribute in work scope definition and compilation of work packages for maintenance work on aircraft for in-house and outsourced maintenance while adhering to the time lines as defined in the TPM.
• Identify prerequisite requirements like tools, materials, man-hour, manpower, elapsed time and skill needed to perform routine or unscheduled tasks based on evaluation of maintenance procedure.
• Review maintenance request for task card amendments pertaining to engineering documents (i.e. man-hour, spares/tooling, access requirements) and ensure that appropriate actions are taken.
• Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

Qualifications And Experience

To be successful in the role you will need to have the following criteria,

• High School / Vocational Qualification /Diploma or equivalent with 5 years of relevant experience or Bachelor's with 4 years of experience.
  
  

Job Specific Skills

• Good Knowledge of Aircraft Systems/ Aircraft Engines.
• Good knowledge of aircraft maintenance data.
• Knowledge of Part CAMO and Part-145 Regulations and functions.
• Project management and execution.
