Job Summary:
The HSE Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all civil inspection activities are conducted in compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement, monitor, and enforce HSE policies and procedures on site.
- Conduct risk assessments and safety audits, ensuring compliance with Qatar’s HSE laws.
- Provide HSE training and guidance to the project team.
- Investigate and report any accidents or incidents.
- Ensure environmental protection measures are integrated into all civil inspection activities.
- Advise the Project Manager on safety-related matters.
Competencies:
- Health & Safety Management: Expertise in implementing and enforcing health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and best practices on-site.
- Risk Assessment: Ability to conduct thorough risk assessments and safety audits, identifying hazards and ensuring preventive measures are in place.
- Training & Development: Ability to provide effective HSE training to all team members, enhancing awareness and knowledge of safety protocols.
- Incident Investigation: Strong analytical skills to investigate accidents or incidents, determine root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
- Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of local and international HSE laws and regulations.
