• Lead the creation, negotiation, and execution of contracts to optimize value and performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety protocols, and applicable laws in all contract-related activities.
• Maintain an updated database of qualified contractors and suppliers, conducting regular market assessments.
• Facilitate validation processes for contract strategies, including arranging and attending committee meetings.
• Manage the end-to-end tendering process: from pre-qualification, preparing call-for-tender documents, and evaluating bids to recommendation and award.
• Oversee contract renewal and amendment discussions, ensuring alignment with operational needs.
• Handle claims, disputes, and lawsuits in coordination with legal, insurance, and finance teams.

Skills

• Oversee approximately 30–50 contracts and 100–200 service orders per year.
• Contribute to a team responsible for a purchasing turnover of $1.5–2 billion annually.

• Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in a science or commercial field (or equivalent).
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in contracts within the oil & gas industry, with prior experience as a Contract Engineer.
• Advanced expertise in contracts technical competencies and procurement tools.

• Skills & Attributes:Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to manage, negotiate, and resolve complex contract matters.
• Advanced knowledge of contract procedures, legal frameworks, and industry best practices.
