Modern Central Laundry ‘MCL’, is a subsidiary of Al Rayyan Tourism Investment Company “ARTIC”, the hospitality investment arm of Al Faisal Holding. MCL began its commercial operation in 2011 and it is considered the first ‘Green’ commercial laundry service in Qatar and is the largest and most advanced of its kind, representing a “new era” in the approach to and management of commercial laundry in the region.

• Assist the General Manager in the Recruitment and Training of Laundry Supervisors & Operators & Transport Department Staff.
• Arrange the logistics for the laundry facility and set up the Service Levels for Customers.
• Ensure the highest possible Quality Standards are attained.
• Ensure all SOP are being adhered to
• To effectively plan, organize, resources and activities in all areas in line with budgeted P & L, forecasting to ensure cost control in line with requirements and demand.
• Ensure company and staff comply with Health & Safety Procedures
• Support service team and resolve customer disputes and issues in a timely manner.
• Hands-on approach.

Skills

• Interview and selection of Production and Transport Staff.
• Set up Production and delivery schedules to cater for required workflows.
• Initiate, develop, and train quality standards & procedures in line with British standard ISO 9000.
• Set targets & train staff to achieve these targets by constantly monitoring & coaching.
• Test & monitor washing & finishing processes to achieve best practices in Production techniques & cost control.
• Support teams were required.
• Effective cost control in line with production and delivery schedules whilst maintaining customer expectations.
• Promoting and supporting a well-trained stable workforce.
• Other main duties and responsibilities which is not covered above, will be informed by the General Manager (MCL).
• This role is based in Doha, Qatar.
