Responsibilities:

1. Maintain and repair a fleet of vehicles used in telecom infrastructure projects, including vans, trucks, and specialized vehicles equipped with telecommunications equipment.

2. Conduct routine inspections and diagnostic tests to identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in vehicle systems and components.

3. Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as fluid changes, tire rotations, and brake adjustments to ensure vehicle performance and reliability.

4. Coordinate with field technicians and project managers to prioritize vehicle maintenance schedules and support project timelines.

5. Document vehicle maintenance activities, including service records, repair logs, and inventory of spare parts and supplies.

6. Adhere to safety regulations and company policies in all vehicle maintenance activities, including proper handling of hazardous materials and disposal procedures.

7. Assist in the selection and procurement of new vehicles and equipment, including vehicle specifications and vendor negotiations.

8. Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes affecting vehicle maintenance in the telecom sector.

Skills

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in automotive technology is advantageous.

2. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a vehicle technician, preferably in the telecom or related industry.

3. Knowledge of vehicle diagnostic tools, computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), and technical repair manuals.

4. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair complex vehicle issues.

5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, with a focus on safety and quality.

6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with internal teams and external vendors.

7. Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
