Job Responsibilities 1

Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualization and Design:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
  • Generate creative ideas and concepts for visual communication.
  • Develop visual designs that align with brand guidelines and effectively communicate the desired message.
  • Graphic Production:
  • Use industry-standard software to create high-quality designs for both print and digital media.
  • Produce a wide range of visual materials, including but not limited to brochures, banners, social media graphics, presentations, and advertisements.
  • Brand Identity:
  • Ensure consistency in visual elements across all brand materials.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of brand guidelines.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to reinforce and evolve the brand identity.
  • Market and Industry Trends:
  • Stay abreast of design trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices.
  • Integrate new design trends and techniques into projects to keep our visual communication fresh and contemporary.
  • Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and sales, to understand their design needs.
  • Incorporate feedback and revisions into designs to meet project requirements.
  • Project Management:
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and meeting quality standards.
  • Prioritize and organize workload effectively to meet deadlines.


Job Responsibilities 2

Client Communication:

To communicate directly with clients (as needed) to understand their needs, provide updates on projects, and receive feedback.

Print Production:

To be responsible for preparing files for printing, selecting appropriate paper and finishes, and liaising with printers to ensure quality output.

Digital Asset Management:

To organize and maintain digital files, including design assets, templates, and project archives, to ensure efficient workflow and easy access to resources.

Software Proficiency:

Staying up-to-date with design software and tools is crucial for graphic designers. They need to master software like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Sketch, Figma, or other relevant programs.

Quality Control:

Ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and quality of design work is essential. Graphic designers review their own work and may also participate in peer reviews or quality assurance processes.

Client Education:

To educate clients about design principles, processes, and best practices to facilitate effective collaboration and achieve successful outcomes.

Feedback Incorporation:

To be open to receiving feedback and willing to incorporate changes based on client or team input while maintaining the integrity of the design concept.

Skills

Job Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of Marketing Retail Developments (Retail Malls / Shopping Centres / Mixed Use Developments) within the GCC.Experience and reach local, regional & international agencies and suppliers.

Strong organizational skills including event management and activation setup experience.

Proficient in the use of computers particularly Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint.

Strong presentation skills

Experience with web design and UX/UI principles.

Animation and video editing skills.

Familiarity with 3D design software.

Knowledge of printing processes and production techniques.

Demonstrated capacity to work with an agile and open mind in a complex and multinational work environment alongside talented and strong-minded colleagues.

Ability to work under pressure and be determined to meet marketing calendar targets.

Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, typography, and layout.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.

 

Job Experience

Minimum 10 years of total experience.

8 years of industry-related experience. 

A minimum of 4 years in GCC is preferred.
