Job description
The Therapist I - Respiratory possesses novice knowledge of Pediatric and/or Neonatal cardiopulmonary anatomy and physiology. S/he has novice knowledge and clinical acumen in the use of all medical devices and techniques used in respiratory therapy for the Pediatric and/or Neonatal patient population. S/he demonstrates professional skills relevant to patient assessment, disease identification and evaluation, and administration of clinical therapeutic, interventional, and diagnostic care. S/he demonstrates the knowledge and skills to participate in the education of the patient, family and the public. The Respiratory Therapist I is responsible for ensuring that all duties are carried out to the highest possible standard. The Respiratory Therapist I participates in the supervision and teaching of more junior and new members of staff within the department.

يمتلك أخصائي الرعاية التنفسية - المستوى الأول معرفة مبتدئة بتشريح وفسيولوجيا الجهاز القلبي الرئوي للأطفال و/أو حديثي الولادة. ويتمتع بمعرفة مبتدئة وفطنة سريرية في استخدام جميع الأجهزة والتقنيات الطبية المستخدمة في العلاج التنفسي لفئة مرضى الأطفال و/أو حديثي الولادة. كما يظهر مهارات مهنية تتعلق بتقييم المرضى، وتحديد الأمراض وتقييمها، وتقديم الرعاية السريرية العلاجية والتدخلية والتشخيصية. ويظهر المعرفة والمهارات اللازمة للمشاركة في تثقيف المريض والأسرة والجمهور. ويتولى أخصائي الرعاية التنفسية - المستوى الأول مسؤولية ضمان تنفيذ جميع المهام بأعلى معيار ممكن. ويشارك أخصائي الرعاية التنفسية - المستوى الأول في الإشراف على الموظفين الجدد والأقل خبرة وتعليمهم داخل القسم.
