- Own the integrated curriculum as a single coherent program rather than a set of assembled parts.
- Make source decisions on what to license from established providers and what to author internally.
- Manage progression and coherence from Grades 9–12 initially, and then across full K–12 range.
- Ensure alignment to recognised international standards, demonstrated to an auditable level.
- Submit the curriculum to education authorities and manage the review cycles that follow.
- Set authoring standards and direct the writers and specialists who work to those standards.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Ten or more years in school curriculum design, with at least five years in computing, computer science or AI education as taught subject matter.
- Hands-on experience designing or teaching AI or machine-learning content.
- Familiarity with frameworks such as AI4K12 or UNESCO's AI competency frameworks.
- Authored or led a curriculum adopted by a national, state or multi-district system, surviving its approval process.
- Experience mapping curriculum against published competency standards.
- Designed upper-secondary pathways progressing towards recognised qualification or certification.
- Experience deciding between licensed and originally authored material with real consequences.
- Possession of a master's degree or higher in curriculum, computer science education, learning sciences or a related field.
- Doctorate degree is an advantage.
- Experience with bilingual or multilingual curricula is an advantage.
