Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Heating Air Conditioning Technician role based in Doha, Qatar. The technician will install, inspect, and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in residential and commercial properties. Daily tasks include diagnosing system issues, performing repairs, conducting preventive maintenance, and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently. The role involves coordinating with property management, documenting work performed, and following safety and regulatory standards. The technician will respond to service requests, support plumbing and minor electrical work related to HVAC systems, and help optimize energy usage across the facilities. Qualifications Strong troubleshooting skills for HVAC systems and related equipment. Knowledge of plumbing tasks that support HVAC installation and maintenance. Experience with preventive maintenance programs for heating and air conditioning systems. Understanding of electricity and safe electrical practices in HVAC work. Relevant EPA or equivalent environmental and safety compliance knowledge. Previous experience as an HVAC technician or in a similar building services role. Ability to read technical manuals, system diagrams, and follow standard operating procedures. Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with property staff and tenants. Physical ability to perform on-site work, including lifting equipment and accessing confined spaces. Technical diploma, trade certification, or equivalent training in HVAC, mechanical, or electrical fields is preferred.
