We are looking for an experienced Project Planning & Control Engineer to manage the planning, monitoring, and control of multiple interior fit-out and turnkey projects.
The role will work closely with Design, Commercial, Procurement, Logistics, and Project Execution teams to ensure projects are properly planned, monitored, and delivered according to agreed timelines.
Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain baseline, master, and detailed project schedules. Prepare WBS covering the full project lifecycle from design and approvals to procurement, production, logistics, site execution, snagging, and handover. Prepare weekly and monthly look-ahead schedules. Monitor planned vs. actual progress across multiple projects. Track design deliverables, approvals, procurement, production, material deliveries, and site execution. Monitor project milestones, dependencies, and critical paths. Identify potential delays and provide early warnings to management. Perform schedule impact and delay analysis. Prepare recovery and acceleration plans when required. Maintain project risk, issue, delay, and action registers. Follow up with responsible departments on outstanding and overdue activities. Coordinate regular project progress and planning meetings. Prepare weekly/monthly project dashboards and management reports. Ensure project schedules are continuously updated based on actual progress. Support management with clear visibility of project status, risks, bottlenecks, and required corrective actions. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field. Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in project planning and controls. Project Management Professional PMP Proven experience in interior fit-out, construction, or turnkey projects. Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project/ clickup. Strong understanding of WBS, CPM, progress measurement, schedule analysis, and recovery planning. Good understanding of design, procurement, logistics, subcontractor, and site execution workflows. Ability to monitor and control multiple projects simultaneously. Strong Excel, reporting, and analytical skills. Excellent coordination, communication, and follow-up skills. GCC/Qatar experience is preferred.
The ideal candidate should be proactive and detail-oriented, with the ability to identify potential delays early and coordinate with different departments to keep projects on track.
