Role Overview
Reporting to H&S manager, this role is responsible for assisting implementation and driving improvement of HSE management system across circuit operations and major events, whilst ensuring compliance with legal and sporting requirements, where applicable.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct HSE inspections, risk assessments and safety observations. Monitor Permit-to-Work (PTW) activities and contractor compliance. Investigate incidents, near misses and hazards, including root cause analysis. Deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks and safety briefings. Support fire safety inspections and emergency preparedness. Maintain HSE records, corrective actions and performance reports. Support event readiness and on-site safety monitoring.
Requirements
Higher Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or related field. NEBOSH International General Certificate – mandatory. IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent certification. Minimum 5 years of relevant HSE experience. Experience with incident investigation, risk assessment, contractor safety and PTW systems. Experience in major events, motorsport, construction, entertainment venues or other high-risk operational environments is preferred. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and event periods.
Additional Requirements
Currently based in Qatar with a valid Residence Permit (QID). Able to provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC), where required, for the duration of the assignment.
